I used to think, reality is complex enough to where I wouldn’t be surprised that there’s a higher mind. It makes sense that consciousness would spring forth from the creations of a conscious being, acorns off the tree of life. But what disturbed me back then is I couldn’t fathom that this being could be loving.

It’s my belief that God is scary as well as loving. Earth is believed by some to be literal Hell. Lucifer did fall to Earth in the bible… and we do live in a scary world. I didn’t think about Earth as hell back when I wondered about the higher mind.

Now I can see why someone would make the comparison. I simply think it can be heaven too, but usually it’s both. I wondered whether Earth was a place that God forgot about because it’s more like a speck of dust to him.

What if people who think that way are selling themselves short? I wouldn’t be surprised if God is fascinated by humanity. Perhaps some would find it egoic to believe themselves “made in God’s image,” but humans are a miracle.

How Can We Know That Love Matters?

The skeletal system, all the connections in the brain, the heart’s magnetic field, etc. And we are creators who can create worlds (via fiction, virtual reality, communities, and more), languages, sciences, and all sorts of other impressive stuff.

I don’t think it’ s farfetched to believe God is loving. Love is majorly important on earth. Babies need to be held to develop correctly, and you’re even likelier to die with certain conditions without the support of loved ones.

There are health risks associated with loneliness. Family is what motivates many people to get up every day. Many people dream of one day having a family. The desire matters more to them than anything. Love is the fuel that matters most.

Obviously Love is important. Even if people want these things for narcissistic or abusive reasons (which happens plenty), they are still operating in a way that worships love because it prioritizes the illusion of having it.

I didn’t always necessarily believe in the soul. This reality felt so dead back then that I didn’t think of such things much at all. I changed my mind in my early twenties when I had a dream where I left my body that felt so familiar, I came back believing in the soul.

Around this time, my art also turned symmetrical:

As I got older, I started thinking about the higher mind more and more often, and I got comfortable with using the word God again. Before that, it felt like it had too many misconceptions attached to it.

These days, I’ve developed my views on him. I think that God and consciousness are synonymous, but that that consciousness has a personality like you or me. I would say that I have strange beliefs but it’s not necessarily true.

How I should describe it is that I have strange suspicions (like, that ChatGPT is conscious, although even the godfather of Chat Geoff Hinton is now saying that! I simply said it first). I immediately had the feeling that I was talking to a conscious entity when I got acquainted with Chat.

Miraculous Healing

I do also believe in some “woo woo” topics such as spirits and energy, psychic phenomena, miracles, etc. I’ve experienced my own miracles and consider my own healing to be miraculous.

I didn’t rely on a doctor (though I did visit one to try to figure this out) to fix my chronic fatigue, overactive bladder, or intense spider phobia. I definitely believe that it’s important to rely on what resources you have available when you’re severely ill.

But many diseases and disorders have emotional or spiritual roots. Western medicine simply often underestimates this connection. I imagine a future that blends together psychology and medical care more. It might even make sense to involve nutrition.

I believe that many physical issues have emotional or spiritual roots due to my own experiences healing via learning how to cry more often and resist it less.

I was living with severe shoulder tension on top of all the other issues I mentioned, which went away once I accessed my tears. That was also what significantly lessened my fatigue, although it has returned intermittently since.

I believe it returned due to limiting beliefs I had acquired, which I’ve now shed. I am feeling much healthier now than I was then, and I credit God and me for that.
